Thinking about the bigger picture, realizing what will happen to the earth if we don’t fix stuff scares me. And knowing that every day that passes means some idiot with a gun gets closer and closer to assassinating the man that stands for the biggest thing that has happened to civil rights in years is a scary thought even if I don’t really agree with him.

I ran into an old man today who just started talking. He said “you know, we live in the most exciting time we could live in.”

And it put it into perspective. If we survive these times, there’s gonna be a big section in the history books and historians will try to figure what it was like for us to live in 2009.

“But I’m glad I’m on my way out,” he added quickly.
